The doors were closed on the 3.1 Phillip Lim show because it was filled to capacity.
The fire marshall was threatening to shut the show down.
I waited patiently outside, staring at the shut door, with Lynn Yaeger, stupid Leigh Lezark, the buyer for Barney's, and dozens of other cranky show-goers (with seating assignments, mind you), and we didn't get in (well, stupid Misshape did -- don't get me started).
I'm so depressed.
On a more cheerful note, Derek Lam was really great. I walked in right behind Simon Doonan with his cute little hat, mismatched prints, and "SD" Goyard bag.
