hats!

Today, in the window at the Marc Jacobs store on Mercer, there were the hats!





It made my day.

This fall I hope to accumulate lots of hats -- though to be honest, what I really want is one of these Proenza Schoulers:



But I do love the Marc Jacobs hats, and will definitely get excited every time I walk by the window on my way to work. This photo still gives me chills:
