I feel like we've all been waiting for the Harvey Weinstein, Tamara Mellon, and Rachel Zoe-backed Halston revival ever since the rumors first started swirling ages ago. The problem, of course, is that when so much anticipation is built up, you have to deliver- and then some.

Halston didn't. My first thought while browsing the collection: is that it?


I mean, it's not that bad (with the exception of this), but I wanted to be impressed. These are basics, and relatively minimalist basics at that (some of the pieces had a definite Calvin Klein-Jil Sander-esque simplicity). Come on, Harvey. Is that too much to ask?
