Without the hats, Biba's fall 2008 collection might have just had some faint references to Proenza Schouler's past collections - but the hats put it over the top. The whole thing looked like a collection of knockoffs.
Above left: Biba fall 2008. Above right: Proenza Schouler fall 2007. Again, sans hat, it's just that metallic colbalt blue and the strong sleeve that are familiar. That cloche hat really just makes it look a little too familiar.
