boy by band of outsiders

If every fall 2008 collection I see is as satisfying as the Boy show by Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg, it looks like we're off to a good start. Hardly very fashion forward (unless fashion is going in the prep-school direction), Boy was like a dressed-up J.Crew - which we all know is so right up my alley.


Above: The double-breasted vest with gold buttons is impeccable.

Above: I'm thrilled to see that this oxford thing won't be dying out after this winter's over, but now my problem is: where can I find these oxfords?

Above: Like I mentioned before, this is hardly something we've never seen before. But it's just so cute! All the ways I can attempt to recreate these looks are racing through my head right NOW.

Above: I'm also really happy to see plaid used in a way that's not lumberjack or Olsen grunge - remember how plaid used to be preppy?
