At least it might sell better than Madonna's.

I imagine we’ve all heard by now that Roberto Cavalli’s doing the next H&M line? I’m less than thrilled. The problem with Cavalli is that his work by its nature is a little cheesy -- animal prints, sequins, more is more. Who else could make Gisele look so cheap?

The only quasi-redeemable factor is the actual quality of the garment. Enter H&M, exit quality factor, and what you’re left with, I predict, will be cheap synthetic fabrics and bad leopard spots. I hope he proves me wrong, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

The collection will be in stores November 8.

breaking news:

According to Style.com, babushkas are the new turbans.

Start calling your old Russian grandmothers, people. You don't want to be the only ones without a babushka come fall.

Wait, are we serious here?

Nice to meet you.

First of all, this is me:

I like Jill Stuart shoes, Irina Lazareanu’s latest Chanel ads, Agyness Deyn, Hilary Rhoda, and the Chloe Spring 2007 collection. One of my life goals is to be a French girl, or, at least, to look like one. I like Tom Ford, but even more than that, I love his cat-eye Anouk sunglasses. I wish I could have been alive during the 60s; I would have been best friends with Truman Capote and Diana Vreeland and maybe even Andy and Edie and the factory team. One time, I met Giorgio Armani and we kissed each others’ cheeks (this is a true story).

I don’t like Kate Moss, really, and I hate Ray-Ban wayfarers. I generally hate the “hipster thing,” whatever that may be this week. I don’t like Roberto Cavalli or Dolce and Gabbana.

Other than that, I love everything.
